It has been implicated in regulating a variety of cellular processes, including bacterial virulence and various stress responses [[cite:PUB00085803], [cite:PUB00085807], [cite:PUB00085808], [cite:PUB00085804]]. BipA is phosphorylated on a tyrosine residue under some cellular conditions [[cite:PUB00043024]].</p> <p>BipA contains domains that are homologous EF-G domain I, II, III, V.
