IPR039999

Description

IPR039999 is a Cell growth-regulating nucleolar protein.

Proteins in this family contain a C2H2, LYAR-type zinc finger. Included in this family is cell growth-regulating nucleolar protein (LYAR), which maintains the appropriate processing of 47S/45S pre-rRNA to 32S/30S pre-rRNAs and their subsequent processing to produce 18S and 28S rRNAs [[cite:PUB00090407]]. It is also a repressor of the gamma-globin promoter [[cite:PUB00090408]] and oxidative stress genes [[cite:PUB00090409]].

Associated GO terms

GO predictions are based solely on the InterPro-to-GO mappings published by EMBL-EBI, which are in turn based on the mapping of predicted domains to the InterPro dataset. The InterPro-to-GO mapping was last updated on , while the GO metadata was last updated on .

GO term Namespace Name Definition Relationships
