<p>This entry represents the C-terminal region of the iron-sulphur protein LdpA (Light dependent period), which is found in phototropic organisms. LdpA was originally identified in cyanobacteria where it is involved in light-dependent modulation of the circadian clock. The presence of iron-sulphur clusters on LdpA suggests that it may modulate the circadian clock as an indirect function of light intensity by sensing changes in cellular physiology [[cite:PUB00053298]].</p>
